Bio

Michael Davis is a Christian singer/songwriter, worship leader, and producer originally from Tampa, FL. Michael is also the youth pastor at Grace Revolution Church in Dallas, TX, under Pastor Joseph Prince.

Michael crafts his modern pop/rock sound as a producer in his own studio, playing almost every instrument on his recordings. You'll hear the variety of Michael's musical upbringing in his songs, as he grew up with classical piano and orchestral bass training, then moved into rock driven electric guitar and drum playing in middle and high school bands.

At 16 years old, Michael had hopes of becoming a full time studio musician, simply playing on other artist's albums. Those plans shifted and expanded as God opened doors for Michael to begin leading worship at 18 years old, having grown up playing music in church and deeply experiencing The Lord at a young age. Michael began to see the opportunity to use his musical gifting's for more than a fun career, but as a way to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the world through his own songs. 

For the past 10 years God has opened door after door for Michael as a worship leader and a recording artist. Michael released his first 3 song EP in 2011. In 2013 Michael was in his first movie. He performed his original song, "I Need You" in the theatrical film "The Investigator" and was included on the soundtrack. Michael self-produced a second 3 song EP in 2013 as well.

Michael spent over 3 years writing and producing his newest release, which is his first full length album, "Leading Me to Life." He played most instruments on the album and recorded and mixed it all in his own studio. 

Here's a glimpse into Michael's heart on creating music:

"When you write songs and play them on a stage, you’re typically labeled a ‘performer,’ but my desire really isn’t to 'perform' for my own recognition. My desire anytime I step on stage is to point people to Jesus. To give Him all the glory. My desire is to worship; and lead people in that direction. The songs I write are usually sung to the Lord, and are made to show the world how great His love for us all truly is.”

On top of leading at his home church, Michael travels with his band and by himself to lead worship and speak at conferences, retreats, youth camps, and other special events.
